Original Songwriters, Beer on Tap, You Experiencing Life
We came together through the dream of Stan Gibson, a local musician, fan and compassionate humanitarian. He created a Facebook page called, “Baltimore Bands from the 70's 80's 90's,” with the intention of bringing together musicians, fans, music venues and members of the vibrant, golden age of LIVE music in the Baltimore Metro area. With a little help from his friends, and over 8000 avid members, a virtual community was built, and continues to grow. With the tremendous success of the Facebook page, Stan dreamed of bringing the online community together in a live music event. In October 2013, our first annual event was held, and the dream was realized! This event became known as Stanstock after the man who made it possible. Stanstock patrons, musicians and volunteers continue to support two Baltimore-based charities by donating 100% of net proceeds to the Nicole Van Horn Foundation and Catch A Lift Fund. More importantly, all fundraising objectives have been exceeded year after year! All musicians gather together and donate their time and talents to this worthy cause along with the all-volunteer staff who work on this project throughout the year.

Kurt Deemer Band w/ Special Guests TBA perform their All Original compositions on stage at the Metropolis Collective. Metropolis Collective is a contemporary fine art gallery and live performance space run by Richard Reilly. Reilly is a former NYC native with 20 years of experience with the prestigious Adelson Gallery. Prior to the Adelson, he made a name for himself as a founder of the seminal first wave NYC punk band The Victims, among others. He now runs the label Rick-O-Chet Records, also located at 17 W Main St. Our mission is to bring eclectic, thought-provoking artwork to Central Pa. There are enough traditional art galleries here, we hope to be part of the niche of artists and collectors that want something a little more fresh and unusual.
